Improve Disaster Recovery
It is possible to have your server running much faster if there was a critical hardware failure on your server if that server is virtualized. The advantage here is the ability to copy the "virtual server" file to a different piece of hardware and then install a virtual machine player such as ?VMware Player? and boot up your ?virtual? server file within minutes and have it fully functional again indifferent to what hardware piece it is physically running on
