How to Handle Microsoft Windows 7 Crashes?
- by Robin watson
Microsoft Windows 7 is a recently released version of Microsoft Windows, series of graphical user interface operating systems. It provides great performance and security features over its earlier versions. It has been developed from ground up for improved performance and for robustness. It works well in most of the cases, but sometimes it may get crashed and you come across critical situations of data inaccessibly and even data loss. In such circumstances, you need to go for Windows Data Recovery to get your mission-critical and valuable data back. Following are the causes of Windows 7 crashes and possible solutions to prevent such situations:
- System Requirements: Microsoft Windows 7 needs relatively modern computer to run on. Windows 7 is heavy on your computer, so you must ensure that your hardware meets minimum system requirements.
- You need to ensure that all device drivers are compatible with MS Windows 7 and they are recently updated. Having incompatible or faulty device drivers generally cause operating system crash.
- If you are able to boot your system in Safe Mode, do it after crash. In Safe Mode, recall the last operation that you did before system crash. Undo the changes and restart your system.
- Make sure that you have sufficient space on your hard drive for usual operations of MS Windows 7. If you have low disk space, free up some space on hard drive and reboot your system.
- Damaged or missing registry files may also cause Windows to crash. Registry is a critical component of Windows computer that keep record of all the software, hardware and data stored on your hard drive. Registry cleaner applications are required to sort out such issues.
- If none of the above method works, you need to format your Windows hard drive and reinstall Microsoft Windows 7 on it. This process will remove all of the operating system errors and place a new operating system but also cause serious data loss and need Windows Recovery to be sorted out.
